If you are looking for a fun and unique group activity, Duck Riders of Grapevine has the solution. An adventure on a WWII amphibious vehicle is the perfect activity for your family and friends, corporate outings, school field trips, senior groups to let loose and experience the authentic duck boat.
Group packages start at a base price of $325 for a whole duck. Each duck can accommodate 25 people or up to 50 in two ducks. For larger groups, we can stage the ducks for non stop fun.
Reserve the entire duck or go out with a group to enjoy a spectacular summer sunset view. We time your summer rides to get on the lake to take in the Texas sky and big sunset views. Relax the evening away as we pass by the Glass Cactus patio, a setting that overlooks Lake Grapevine. Bring a drink or enjoy a bottle of water from our cooler as we cruise from land to lake at dusk. Sunset tours available June through Sept.
Every Friday night through Labor Day, a 12 minute firework shows blasts off over Lake Grapevine. Enjoy patriotic music as your Duck Driver positions you for the most unique view of the fireworks show. Reserve the entire duck or share your ride ride with others. Bring a drink or enjoy a bottle of water from our cooler as we ride to the lake in time for the 9:30 fireworks show.
GPS Scavenger Hunts more info
Your group can explore the shorelines of Lake Grapevine with the assistance of handheld GPS devices. Our drivers have some spectacular sites and stories ear marked for your geocaching adventure. You not only get to experience a land and lake tour, you will be kept entertained on your outdoor adventure looking for hidden treasures. Anything from duckosaurus tracks; cooler full of ice cold drinks or hidden island caches. We will provide everything you need to make your event the most memorable and unique outing. Your group event will be plently of fun for all ages.

Take a group on a pirates cruise from land to lake. All the mates aboard will have an unforgetable event as pirates is the theme. Makes a great themed birthday party.
Birthday Parties
Have a birthday party on the duck. Whether your 2 or 90 years old it is a truly unique birthday celebration. The memories will last a lifetime. Have your group meet at the mall or your favorite restaurant for the start of the one-of-a-kind birthday celebration. Cake will be served and party favor whistles will be handed out as your Duck Driver makes a stop along the route to salute the birthday guest. That special person may even get a chance to be the captain of the boat after we splash into Lake Grapevine.
Lake Lewsiville Party
Have a party on the duck at Lake Lewisville. We will pick you up on land and get your group to the lake for the big lake party. Bring your iPod or listen to the Duck Drivers tunes as we go from land to lake and from sea to shore in this unique military vehicle.
Dinner and Lunch Tours
Include some food with your duck tour. Discounted packages exist for groups that want to eat at one of the many restaurants in Grapevine or Southlake, receive a discount on food at
Little Pete's on Lake Grapevine or just enjoy a boxed lunch pinic at the park half way through the duck tour. Many other fine restaurant options exist, we can even find you a menu that serves duck.
Wine, Dine and Duck
Bring your favorite bottle of wine on the duck or we will stop at one of the local wineries where you can purchase your own custom bottle of Duck Riders 1945 vintage wine. Meet your wine Connoisseurs (or anyone who watched the movie Sideways) at the Gaylord Texan. Have each person bring a bottle of wine and we will head out to the old Grape Vine Prairie on a one of a kind wine tasting duck tour. Please..., no Yellow Tail wines, however we will provide the cheese and quackers.
Field Trips
Reserve the entire duck for your school or church group. The kids will get the history lesson of the military vehicle and will have a blast splashing into the water. Every child gets a duck whistle and an educational tour of WW II and the history of Grapevine on the 55 minute land and water ride.
Conventions & Trade Shows
Convention Planning packages include pre paid VIP passes which can be distributed to your group for use at anytime during the convention. The VIP passes are valid on any scheduled duck tour that departs from the Gaylord Texan Tour Bus Lobby. Use the VIP cards for customer appreciation, employee recognition or trade show handouts. Volume discounts are available.

Combine your family vacation at the largest indoor water park in Texas with a real splash into Lake Grapevine.
Airport Tour
Ride alongside of the big planes at DFW international airport in the big open air duck. Listen to tower control, stop at the park for lunch.
Assisted Living Groups
Join the many senior groups from around the metroplex that have already become Duck Riders. Mid morning tours stop at the park for a boxed lunch at Rockledge Park. Package includes; choice of sandwich, chips, pickle, cookie and a choice of soft drink. Enjoy the morning out and about with great food and a ride on a historical WW II military vehicle accompanied with music from the 1940-50's.
Red Hats
You ladies are awesome! The puple and red feathers can always be found scattered around the duck. We are always ready to have a great time with the Red Hat groups of all ages.
Glass Cactus Nightclub
Mix up the electrifying dance and sounds of the Glass Cactus nightclub with a party on the Duck. Compliment your visit with a ride on an amphibious Duck, we will pick you up at the Gaylord and make a splash into Lake Grapevine. Plan to party on the water before or after visiting the nightclub or just take a break from dancing and hit the water for a refreshing excursion. Every ride sets sail past the lights of the Glass Cactus and offers a spectacular moonlight view from the water.
